Kahuina Gallery is a creative arts cooperative on the Island of Hawaii in downtown Hilo at the corners of Mamo and Kilauea. Gallery hours are from 10 am to 4 pm Monday through Saturday or by appointment.
A free community open mike is available nearly every Friday night from 7 pm onward, featuring the spoken word and live musical performance. Come just to listen in and watch, or bring your tattered pages or musical devices to speak your mind and make a joyful noise. It's a warm, casual, and inviting atmosphere with a good time to be had by all.
Regular and special events are scheduled throughout each week on such topics as religion, politics, and of course, the arts.
Through the internet we reach out to the world with a misson to promote universal peace, truth, justice, and nonviolence through open communication and the arts.

Introductory guest memberships are available from $5 a month on up for webspace, and $25 a month on up for in-store displays of books, recordings, pamphlets, or prints.
